I had an idea that might work, but it is a little "out there". That idea was:
We can approach all of the Warrior Cat forums we can find on proboards and tell them about this website that we are making. Maybe they can help us with coding, information, ideas, etc.. This will be a good promotion for their site and ours. All of us could branch out and stuff. What do you think? That is pretty much just a summary of my idea though. Full idea may take some time. I am needing some help on coding and stuff because Support isn't replying to my threads (which is ridiculous). I know a few forums already that seem pretty nice to help out. Every one of them will have a special place on the forum like BTH does. Any ideas on that? Yes? No?

I think this is a really interesting idea -- and I think the benefits you listed are good ones to consider! Getting a head start on getting ourselves known and creating a special relationship to other warrior sites (they've had a part in helping/creating) is great. And I am always down for group projects -- amazing what you can do when you get together with a bunch of creative people. More people = more diversity of ideas.
I'd like to suggest some preparation before we go forward with the idea. You've probably thought of these already but I like talking because I'm Siege. :B
1. Scapegrace is still fairly new, and not ready for a lot of foreign traffic.
--I loved the google docs shenanigans. It was awesome for real-time brainstorming! (And silliness) ;D I support doing this again with our contributing guests... Perhaps without offering access to SG until we implement everything? While I'm not worried about destructive behavior, SG is in its early development stage -- let's get everything perfect before accepting any potential members. It'll be so much easier to make members feel at home when we don't have site construction to worry about. c:
--Furthermore, if possible, I think it'd be good to ask the site admins if they could post the google docs link in a place where only members can access it. This is a good safeguard against any wandering trolls who might actually conduct destructive behavior :c
2. Set boundaries
--Before we plunge into all these cool ideas it might be good to have some guidelines or principles. Is there any details/plot ideas/lore concepts that are not negotiable for change, like, period? Or certain concepts we are particularly looking for ideas to expand? The great thing about narrowing down what we're looking for (or what we're not) is that it focuses creativity and makes the brainstorming more productive. Post these with the google docs link, just so everyone knows what the conversation will be about. c:
3. Credit --Keeping our site exclusive for awhile may make some guests unwilling to part with their ideas, for fear of not getting credit. Express right away that SG is very appreciative of everyone's contributions, and make it clear we're grateful for lending us their ideas. It'll put their mind at ease to know we still view their ideas as their intellectual property. Reassure them that SG will credit each person's whose ideas are used. It might even be good to copy/paste the revised credits with credit given specifically to the contributing sites and their members.
--However, also make it clear that by contributing ideas, they allow SG to use them indefinitely and alter them at our discretion, as long as proper credit is given to the respective owners. If we do not give credit then we forfeit use of the ideas and any alterations.
4. Contributing Sites
--I think we (all four admins) should agree which sites we ask to contribute. Keep the number of contributing sites small. It makes it easier to keep things under control -- we know exactly who we're dealing with and form close relationships with a select few sites we're all comfortable working with.
What do you guys think? c:

I was already planning on letting the guest contributors to take part when the site isn't open, then they will have plenty of room to take part in actions of Scapegrace without the members being bothered by our private visitors.
My idea for selecting the websites is getting four other websites in on Scapegrace. Each one of us will pick a website that will help us out. (I prefer us not to choose Halcyon because I am banned from their website for good reasons e.g. bad history)

What I meant to say was that we should make it clear that all we're looking for is guests, as we're not ready for full-fledged members yet. As in, there isn't a reason to create an account just yet -- since you won't be able to do anything with it. Basically, just stick to the guest board for now, as a guest. c:
Before we go forward with this, I'd like Doll's and Rainy's input; a straight yes or no and we'll go from there! ;D
By the way, have you asked Rainy or Wish from bth for coding help?

Actually, I noticed I haven't. And of course, I wouldn't go strait away with no answers from all four of us.
